B-WISE Consortium Releases Tutorial Toolkit for Educators

27-06-2024

The new toolkit complements the universal training curricula for WISE staff, offering educators resources to effectively teach digital and soft skills. It provides detailed guidance on curriculum delivery, aligning with EQF levels, and includes supplementary resources like a MOOC for extended learning.

The B-WISE consortium is excited to announce the publication of the Tutorial Toolkit for Educators. This comprehensive toolkit is designed to complement the universal training curricula developed for WISE staff, ensuring that educators are fully equipped to deliver impactful training across the three key target groups: Enablers, Supporters, and Workers with Support Needs.

The toolkit provides invaluable resources to educators, enabling them to effectively address the skills gaps identified within the WISE sector. With a strong focus on digital and soft skills, the toolkit is intended to be used alongside the universal training curricula to offer a well-rounded educational experience that meets the evolving needs of WISEs.

The Tutorial Toolkit for Educators is meticulously structured to support the delivery of the training curricula, covering the following critical elements:

  • Targeted Skills Development: Detailed guidance on teaching the specific skills outlined in the curricula, ensuring that participants acquire the competencies necessary for their roles.
  • Qualification Alignment: Information on how the training aligns with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) levels, providing clarity on the qualification profiles that participants will achieve.
  • Curriculum Delivery Methodology: Insights into the methodology used in the development of the curricula, empowering educators to adopt best practices in their teaching.
  • Training Organization and Structure: Comprehensive instructions on how to organize and structure the training modules effectively, tailored to the unique needs of each target group.
  • Supplementary Resources: Additional data on the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) provided, offering an extended learning platform for participants.

The publication of this toolkit marks a significant step forward in supporting educators who play a crucial role in the professional development of staff within WISEs. By providing detailed guidance and practical tools, the B-WISE consortium ensures that educators are well-prepared to deliver training that is both relevant and transformative.

The Tutorial Toolkit for Educators in WISEs is an essential companion to the B-WISE D.3.3 Universal Training Curricula, which outlines the core modules and key competencies for each target group. Together, these resources offer a comprehensive solution for addressing the skills needs of the WISE sector.
